The Park Avenue Elementary School PTO of Auburn sponsored its first bi-annual Scholastic Book Fair. Volunteers helped transform the new school’s stage into a rain forest to display a variety of books for all ages. Students, teachers and families browsed the shop throughout the week. The PTO offered a Café Night with refreshments. Books were available for all students, and teachers received classroom gifts through a wish list. The fair was such a success, the PTO plans to offer another one in the spring.
