NIANTIC, Conn. – Gertrude E. Fournier, 86, of 60 Giants Neck Road, Niantic, Conn., wife of the late Gerard R. Fournier, passed away Christmas, Dec. 25, at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Lewiston, May 3, 1920, the daughter of Donat and Beatrice (Charest) Tardif.

She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Narog, and her husband, Walter, of Rocky Hill, Conn. and Diane Thompson, and husband, Jim, of Niantic, Conn.; four grandchildren, Julie Durocher, Timothy Narog and Amber and Heather Thompson; two great-grandsons, Justin and Dylan Durocher; one brother, Donatien (Jack) Tardif of Lewiston; and one sister, Rejeanne Chiasson of Florida.

She was predeceased by one sister, Vivian Tardif; and one brother, Gerald Tardif.
