LEWISTON – Nathan C. Raby, D.O., a recent graduate of the Central Maine Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program, has received national recognition for his work as a resident.
Raby was one of four resident physicians nationwide selected as an American Osteopathic Foundation Outstanding Resident of the Year. Some 5,400 osteopathic residents were eligible for the award.
Raby recently joined family physician Dana Little, M.D., in practice at the Poland Community Health Center in Poland Spring. He completed a residency at the Central Maine Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program in Lewiston, where he served as co-chief resident during his final year of training.
A graduate of the State University of New York, College at Geneseo, in Geneseo, N.Y., Raby earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford. He is certified in advanced trauma life support, advanced cardiac life support, neonatal advanced life support and basic life support. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Osteopathic Family Physicians, Maine Osteopathic Association, and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
