DURHAM – An informational meeting to discuss bringing a National Bicycle League BMX race track to the Durham-Lisbon-Freeport and surrounding area is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 25 at 7 p.m. at the Durham Elementary School, 654 Hallowell Rd. The public is invited to the meeting to be held in the school gym.
BMX racing will become an olympic sport for the first time in the 2008 Summer Olympics.
