SABATTUS – Announcement is made of the engagement of Kate Elizabeth DeLong and Jason Andrew Lydon.

Miss DeLong is the daughter of Yvette C. and Richard C. Pouzol of Sabattus and Michael J. DeLong of Portland. She is a 2005 graduate of Oak Hill High School and took business classes at Andover College in 2006. She is currently working as an assistant daycare provider.

Mr. Lydon is the son of John K. and Geraldine M. Lydon of Sabattus. He is a 2004 graduate of Oak Hill High School and a 2006 graduate of Andover College with an associate degree in criminal justice. He is currently working as an electrician’s assistant.

A fall 2008 wedding is planned.
