LEWISTON – A Mass of Christian Burial was held for Shirley O’Leary on Saturday morning at St. Patrick’s Chapel, with the Rev. Michael Seavey celebrating the Mass.

Following Mass, bag piper George Pulkinen greeted the funeral procession at Mt. Hope Cemetery and lead the pallbearers from the road to the O’Leary grave site, playing a medley of Scottish songs.

Once at the grave, the Rev. Michael Seavey recited committal prayers and at their conclusion, “Amazing Grace” was played to end the service.

Pallbearers were Paul and Kevin Morissette, Bob Hanish, William Locke, and William and Timothy Cadwell.

A reception of fellowship was held at Marco’s Restaurant in Lewiston following the services. Arrangements were by Dillingham & Son Memorial Chapel & Tribute Center, Auburn.
