Mountain Valley and Farmington are both unbeaten (6-0) and tied for the top in the Boys Division of the Western Maine Youth Basketball League (Grades 5-6) following recent action.

First place will be on the line Sunday as Farmington travels to the Mexico Rec Center for a 1 p.m. contest against MV.

Mountain Valley rolled past Wilton 58-18 as Jacob Theriault netted 12 points. Dylan Akers and Will Cunningham added 10 each. Jamie Shanck led Wilton with 11. MV also trimmed Auburn Rec 59-17. Ryan Nichols led with 15 points. Cunningham added 10. Jameson Rodrigues netted 6 for Auburn. Elijah Moreshead added 4.

Farmington knocked off North Franklin 41-15 as Jordan Whitney scored 12 and Drew Ferrari 9. Noah Rousseau tallied 6 for Franklin. Farmington also beat AYS of Jay-Livermore 48-22. Cam Abbott sparked the winners with a dozen points, Zach Kendall was next with 10.

In other action, Ryan Godin popped in 14 and Jordan Croteau added 10 as Oxford Hills defeated Lisbon Rec 52-10. Sam Coombs collected 4 points for Lisbon.

Girls Division

Wilton picked up 2 wins in recent action in the Girls Division of the Western Maine Youth Basketball League (Grades 4-6).

Wilton beat Turner 35-24 as Meg Hall scored 12 and Amy Hilton 10. Jenna Cote led Turner with 8. Mariah Treadwell was next with 5. Hilton tallied 10 more to lead Wilton to a 39-18 triumph over Livermore Falls. Gabby Foy contributed 8 points. Kassie Whittemore and Taylor Boynton both netted 6 for LF.

Oxford Hills remained unbeaten (6-0) with 2 more victories. OH defeated AYS of Jay-Livermore 57-12. Colleen Stauder poured in 14 for the winners. Abbie Eastman was next with 10. Jahna Couture registered 4 for AYS. OH also beat Auburn Rec 48-11 as Alexis Simpson and Eastman both collected 10 points. Hubbard (5) and Mercedes Johnson (4) led Auburn.

Dixfield earned a 16-7 win over Bridgton as Kayla Gaudin and Lindsy Crutchfield both netted 7. Miranda Chadbourne (3) and Lexi Crawford (2) led Bridgton.

Miranda Smith scored 12 and Lyndsay Bean 8 to lead North Franklin to a 38-17 victory over Dixfield. Lexi Noyes led the Dixies with 5. Natalie Bolduc and Kayla Gaudin added 4 each. North Franklin also beat Auburn Rec 31-2 as Smith torched the nets for 23 points.

Bridgton knocked off Lisbon 18-10 as Miranda Chadbourne and Amina Meziani both tallied 4. Mina Craig scored 4 for Lisbon.

Abbey Lochala scored 15 points to spark Farmington to a 35-16 win over Livermore Falls. Emily Keene collected 10 for LF. Taylor Boynton added 6.
