LEWISTON – Purificacion P. Panuga, 80, of 10 Louise Ave., Lewiston, died Thursday, Jan. 4, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

She was born in the Philippines on Oct. 23, 1926, the daughter of Pablo and Sergia (Abusman) Peralta. She was a homemaker all of her life. She was the widow of Baltazar Panuga.

Survivors include four daughters, Milagros Fournier, and her husband, Raymond, of Lewiston, Merlita Virgirleo, and her husband, Saldiver, Melinda Ola and Juliette Dearroz, all of the Philippines; three brothers, Rolando Panuga, and his wife, Aurora, Reynaldo Panuga, and his wife, Yolanda, and Freddie Panuga, and his wife, Marylou, all of the Philippines; 22 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
