4-H enrollment
PARIS – Four-H re-enrollment for the year 2007 has now been completed throughout the state. For those wishing to re-enroll for 2007, enrollment ended as of Dec. 31.
However, enrollment for new members is open, so anyone wishing to enroll for the first time in the 4-H program can still join a 4-H club or as an independent member.
For more information on how to join 4-H, contact Susan Jennings, Extension educator, at the Oxford County Extension Office, 9 Olson Road, Paris, or call 743-6329 or 1-800-287-1482.
The county program is one of the largest in the state and offers a variety of projects for youth, ranging from arts and crafts, woodworking, cooking and sewing to livestock, travel and community service.
Tables available
PARIS – An inside yard sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays, Feb. 10 and March 3, at the American Legion Hall, Church Street, Paris. Tables are $10 each. Those who want a table should call Marilyn Ramsay at 743-5723.
