Church meeting

HEBRON – The board of trustees have announced that Hebron Community Baptist Church, at the corner of the Hebron Academy campus, will hold its 216th annual meeting on Sunday, Jan. 14, after the 10 a.m. worship service. There will be a potluck luncheon, and members are asked to bring a salad or casserole to share. Beverage and dessert will be provided. For details, call Pastor Meredith Dalessandro at 966-2694.

Grange lunch

WEST PARIS – West Paris Grange 298 will hold a luncheon at noon Saturday, Jan. 13, at the West Paris Baptist Church. A meeting will follow.

Library hours

WATERFORD – The Waterford Library will be open regular hours, 2 to 6 p.m., on Martin Luther King Day, Monday, Jan. 15.

An informal knitting group will be offered from 2 to 4 p.m. New and experienced knitters are invited to work on their projects. Assistance will be available from expert knitters. In case of inclement weather, call 583-4405 or the library at 527-2050 after 2 p.m., to see if the meeting is rescheduled.

The library is open to all residents of Waterford. Hours are Monday 2 to 6 p.m., Wednesday 3 to 8 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. to noon and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Tables available

PARIS – An inside yard sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays, Feb. 10 and March 3, at the American Legion Hall, Church Street, South Paris. Tables are $10 each. Those who want a table should call Marilyn Ramsay at 743-5723.
