WEST PARIS – With the combined efforts of many people, Friends of the Library, officers and the Building Committee, Santa arrived on Dec. 23, lighting the library pathway, parking lot and lamp post. Anyone interested in becoming involved in any aspect of the town library should call 674-2507.
Supper, dance
PARIS – A bean supper and dance will be held Saturday, Jan. 13, at the South Paris Legion on Church Street.
The supper will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. followed by the dance from 6 to 11 p.m. Music will be provided by Bobby Reed and the Wild Horse Band. Cost is $6 for the supper or dance; or $10 for both. There will be a Chinese auction and a 50/50.
Proceeds will benefit the band with traveling expenses to Tennessee to represent Maine in the national finals. For more information, call Lorri at 966-2771 or Barbara at 674-5667.
