So, Gov. John Baldacci says, “We need to change the way we do business.” Well, I and others I’ve talked with agree, but I don’t think that attacking the smokers with another tax hike is quite the right approach.

It’s just my opinion, but I think state officials should look into those people who collect state aid.

I believe that many people are collecting state benefits illegally – working full-time, but claim just part-time, so they can qualify for all this state assistance. I wonder who the smart ones are here?

Smokers out there should be ashamed.

But then, I’m a smoker. So shame on me.
