LEWISTON – The Lewiston Education Fund is looking for bowling teams for its second annual SuperBowling event at noon Saturday, Feb. 3, at Sparetime Recreation Center. The event is open to any age and skill level.

The $125 five-person team entry fee must be submitted with the names of a designated team captain and all team players by Monday, Jan. 29, to Richard Albert, event co-chairman, at 59 East Ave., Lewiston, ME 04240.

Forms are available at all local school offices or at the Dingley Building at 36 Oak St. Refreshments and pizza will be provided again this year. Only 18 lanes are available this year.

Lane sponsorships of $100 will provide advertising, with a company or individual sponsor’s banner at the end of a designated lane. Businesses should contact Filomena Day at 777-3232 by Tuesday, Jan. 23, to be included as a lane sponsor.

The Lewiston Education Fund is a nonprofit organization established in 2002 to fund projects and programs that expand educational opportunities, foster creativity and enhance academic excellence in Lewiston’s public schools.

The proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to award grants to Lewiston teachers. Visit www.lewistoneducationfund.org for a description of grants awarded by LEF during the past two years.
