NORWAY – The Norway Parks and Recreation Department is offering another eight-week session of After School Bowling for grades two through six from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays starting Jan. 16.

The registration fee is $10 and there will be a weekly fee of $4 at Hobbs Lucky Lanes. The fees will cover transportation from the Guy Rowe School to the lanes, two strings of bowling, rental of bowling shoes and a pizza party on the last day.

The program is also open to middle school students, but they need to find their own transportation or meet the bus at the Guy Rowe School at 3 p.m. Students who attend all eight weeks will enter a drawing for a set of bowling balls.

The Parks and Recreation Department will also offer karate lessons after school on Mondays for grades kindergarten through two starting Monday, Jan. 22, and for grades three through six starting Friday, Feb. 2.

The lessons will be taught by Sempai Liesha Petrovich and Shihan Martin Petrovich of Maine Kyokushin Karate. The lessons will be held at the Guy Rowe gym from 3 to 4:15 p.m. The fee of $65 includes a uniform.

Register for all programs at the Norway Town Office. For more information, contact Parks and Recreation Director Deb Partridge at 743-6651 or debpart@megalink.net.
