LEWISTON – Two support groups are being formed at the Vineyard Church, 9 Foss Road.
A Divorce Care divorce recovery support group will meet for 13 weeks to help those face the challenges divorce brings and move toward rebuilding a life. Classes will start at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, at the Vineyard Church. For more information or to sign up, contact the Vineyard Church at 784-9500. Child care will be available.
A Grief Share recovery support group will begin meeting at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at the church and will run for 13 weeks.
Many grieving people are surrounded by attention from family, friends and their church during the intense days following the death of a friend or loved one. But it is after the funeral, when everyone else has returned to a more normal lifestyle, that the really hard work of grief recovery begins.
Grief Share features emphasis on a biblical approach to grief recovery and the return to emotional health.
