RANGELEY – Angela White scored 13 points and hauled down eight rebounds to lead Rangeley to a 48-29 victory over Vinalhaven in girls’ basketball Saturday.
Krista Jamison chipped in with 10 points and seven boards for the Lakers (7-2). Claire Carter led Vinalhaven (7-3) with 13 points.
Oak Hill 38, Maranacook 21
READFIELD – Sophomore guard Ambyr Provost scored 12 points, eight rebounds and six assists to lead Oak Hill to a 38-21 triumph over Maranacook in KVAC girls’ basketball action Saturday.
The Raiders (2-8) jumped out to an early 12-2 lead and stayed on top throughout the contest. Junior forwards Emily Sabine and Ashley Delaney recorded identical scoring tallies with four field goals apiece.
The Black Bears (0-10) were paced by Chelsey Freeman with four field goals for eight points and Brittany Myles with three field goals and a pair from the line for another eight points.
