SUMNER – Alden and Kim Longfellow of Farmingdale are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Kristy Longfellow, to Brent Dan, son of Larry and Karen Dan of Sumner.

Miss Longfellow is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. He is a registered nurse at Mid-Coast Hospital in Brunswick.

Mr. Dan is a graduate of St. Joseph’s College with a bachelor’s degree in physical education. He is employed at General Electric in Auburn.

A May 5 wedding will be held in Hallowell.
