SOUTH PARIS – The wedding and reception of Meredith V. Martin and Steven A. Asher was held on Oct. 7 at the McLaughlin Gardens in South Paris.
Mrs. Asher is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest F. Martin of Norway. Mr. Asher is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Asher of Vancouver, Wash.
Marla Morin, aunt of the bride, officiated at the ceremony. She was given in marriage by her father.
Coralee Foster, friend of the bride, and Meagan Scully, cousin of the bride, were the bridesmaids. Ryan Scully, cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer, and Victor Asher, brother of the bridegroom, was the best man.
Mrs. Asher is a graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and is a bookkeeper at Safeway in Vancouver.
Mr. Asher is a graduate of Evergreen High School and is attending Clark College in Vancouver.
After returning from a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple is residing in Vancouver.
