YARMOUTH – Karen Wright and Paul Newton were married on Sept. 16 at the Royal River Park in Yarmouth. A reception followed at the AMVETS Hall in Yarmouth.
The bride is the daughter of Steven Wright of Sanford and the late Linda Wright. The bridegroom is the son of Anita Caraballo and stepson of Jorge Caraballo of Limington, and the son of Wayne Newton and stepson of Karen Newton of Rumford.
The maid of honor was Amy Demers, sister of the bride, and the best man was Derrick Michaud, best friend of the bridegroom.
The bride is a graduate of Sanford High School and Endicott College in Beverly, Mass. She is employed at Comphealth and is currently working at Maine Medical Center as a physical therapist assistant.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Buckfield High School and is a self-employed musician, working full time.
The couple resides in Portland.
