FARMINGTON – Betty J. Harris (Brackett) of New Sharon passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Jan. 13, at Franklin Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Phillips on Sept. 23, 1929, the daughter of the late Gerald Brackett Sr. and the late Fern R. Douglass.
She attended the Phillips School.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ansel L. Harris; and her daughter, Judy Keating.
She is survived by two daughters, Suzan Stacey and her husband, Wesley, of Parsonsfield, Patricia Chute and her husband, William, of New Sharon; and a son-in-law, Ed Keating of Birdsboro, Pa; grandchildren, Alan and Sandy Chute of Shillington, Pa., Peter and Cyndie Stacey of East Baldwin, Alison Stacey and partner, Jamie Fenderson, of Porter, Cory Chute of Dixfield, and Josh Keating of Pottstown, Pa.; great-grandchildren, Tucker Chute of Dixfield, Charlee Ann Fenderson of Porter, and Matthew Chute of Shillington, Pa.; sisters, brothers, and several nieces and nephews.
