ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Blues acquired center Yan Stastny from the Boston Bruins on Tuesday in exchange for a fifth-round pick in the 2007 Entry Draft.
Stastny, 24, had two assists in 21 games with Boston and three goals and nine assists in 11 games with Providence of the AHL. The son of NHL Hall of Famer Peter Stastny, who also played for the Blues, Yan was originally the Bruins’ eighth-round pick in the 2002 Entry Draft.
