Of the patients who will undergo a surgical procedure this year, many are unaware that they will receive their anesthesia care from a certified registered nurse anesthetist. The eighth annual Nurse Anesthetist Week will be observed Sunday through Saturday, Jan. 21 to 27, and Bridgton Hospital Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists Ibra Ripley, left, and Tom Nolan will be recognized during the week.
