WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Tom Allen has announced that he has nominated young Maine men and women for appointment to the Class of 2011 at the Army, Navy, Air Force and Merchant Marine academies.
Local nominee to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., is Adam Edgerton, a senior at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, son of Katherine Edgerton of Harrison.
