MEXICO – A Mass of Christian Burial for Evelyn Gurney was celebrated Tuesday at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Angelo LeVasseur was the celebrant. George Gionet was the altar server. Wayne Petrie was the organist. Music selections were Be Not Afraid, Wind Beneath My Wings, Amazing Grace and Ave Maria was sung by Erin Gurney. Readings were done by Deborah Gurney and Andrea Gurney. A poem was read by Jennifer Gurney. The eulogy written by her son Thomas was read by Linda Hebert. Pallbearers were Daryl Gurney, Richard Gurney, Dan Gurney, Clifford Walker, Dennis Gelhar and Matt Foreman. A reception followed in the parish hall.
