LEWISTON – A funeral Mass for Joseph A. Audet was celebrated on Thursday at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, after prayers at the Pinette and Lynch Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Lariviere celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Military honors from the U.S. Army played “Taps” and presented our country’s flag to Emily Audet. Pallbearers were Ronald Burke, Bill Levasseur, Chris and Zach Kent, Daniel Corkum and Armand Audet. A reception of fellowship was held at Marco’s Restaurant after the committal service at the cemetery.
