As executive director of the Franco-American Heritage Center, I have seen for myself the dedication and the hard work that Laurent F. Gilbert Sr. is capable of doing for a cause he really believes in. Gilbert is president of the board of directors at the center, and I am proud and happy to be working with him.
The city of Lewiston is another cause to which I know he’s committed, and cares deeply about. For that reason, I know that he would commit himself 100 percent to do whatever is necessary to make the office of mayor a source of pride for Lewiston.
His experience in service to others is truly admirable, and his knowledge in working for city, state or federal governments would bring quality and expertise to that office.
I am voting for Laurent F. Gilbert Sr. for mayor.
