AUBURN – Callie Giroux and Kevin Cooke exchanged wedding vows before family and friends on Oct. 8 at Lost Valley Lodge in Auburn. The Rev. Robert G. Harris, chaplain colonel, U.S. Army, retired, officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Lawrence and Cynthia Giroux of Hartford. The bridegroom is the son of Howard and Joni Cooke of Leeds.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore an ivory glass-beaded sleeveless gown with V-neckline, and carried a bouquet of red, yellow and burgundy flowers.

Both are 2001 graduates of Leavitt Area High School. The bride also graduated from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire and is employed at G.M. Pollack. The bridegroom served four years in the U.S. Army, including two tours in Iraq. He currently attends Central Maine Community College in Auburn and is employed at L.L. Bean.

They are residing in Sabattus.
