Church luncheon
FARMINGTON – A community luncheon will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, at Henderson Memorial Baptist Church, corner of Academy and Main streets.
The menu includes turkey pie casserole with mashed potatoes, coleslaw, cranberry sauce, biscuits and gingerbread with topping.
The meals are offered by the congregation to everyone in the community at no charge. For more information, call the church office at 778-2163 or Dot Bryant at 778-4608.
Benefit supper
WILTON – An appreciation and benefit supper for Sarah Tanguay, who started the Waterfront Bakery in Wilton, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Social Hall of the Wilton Congregational Church, Main Street.
The meal will be potluck, and those who attend are invited to bring food to share. Cards and letters of appreciation are welcome. There will be a donation basket for those who wish to contribute funds toward the next phase of Tanguay’s life. The supper is open to the public.
