WILTON – Mr. and Mrs. Paul Gooch of Wilton are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephannie Gooch, to Michael Welch, son of Paul and Maureen Welch of Tamworth, N.H.

The future bride is a 1989 graduate of Mt. Blue High School, a 1999 graduate of Champlain College in Burlington, Vt., with an associate degree in respiratory therapy, and a 2006 graduate of Norwich University in Northfield, Vt., with a bachelor’s degree in history. She is currently employed by North Atlantic Medical Staffing as a traveling respiratory therapist.

The future bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Randolph High School in Randolph, Mass., and a 2002 graduate of Norwich University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He is currently employed at the Randolph Police Department in Randolph, Vt., and is an EMT with the Northfield Ambulance Service in Northfield, Vt.

The couple currently lives in Brookfield, Vt., and an April 2008 wedding is being planned.
