How long can you keep candied fruit? I have two containers of candied cherries from last year’s Christmas baking.

Candied fruit will last more than a year in a cool, dark place such as a cabinet away from heat. As long as there is no sign of mold, the syrup hasn’t crystalized and it smells OK, it should be fine.
