CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – New Hampshire’s Commissioner of Transportation is resigning, effective March 1.

Gov. John Lynch received Carol Murray’s resignation on Monday afternoon.

Last year, Lynch said he had concerns about Murray’s leadership and management of the department.

He had cited an audit of the department’s billing and accounting practices.

Lynch will soon make an announcement regarding interim leadership at the department.
