Congratulations to the residents of Jay who voted for the new town office and police station. Was it a coincidence that the special town meeting was held the same night as the Jay/Livermore basketball game? The parking lots were packed.
Why not take the money that was set aside and build a community building, like the one that was taken away when the junior high school was built? Now more tax dollars will be taken from the hard working residents of Jay.
I hope people are happy with the new town office/police station/Jay family restaurant.
What is the special for next Monday night?
Matt True, Jay
