RUMFORD – The River Valley Technology Center, Growth Council and Chamber of Commerce are offering a business lunch-and-learn opportunity with the topic “Is a Franchise for You?”

Presenters Susan Baracco and Bruce Blaisdell will offer insights into managing a franchise business, with information about where to search, how to participate, legalities and financing options. Attendees will learn the ins and outs of franchise businesses.

The seminar will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at the River Valley Technology Center, 60 Lowell St. The cost is $10 and includes lunch; River Valley Chamber of Commerce members pay $8.
