AUGUSTA – Marion Clarice Rideout-Twist, 70, of Augusta died on Feb. 3, at Augusta Rehab of a long-term illness.

She was born on May 6, 1936, the daughter of Walter and Edna Wallace Rideout.

She enjoyed gardening, fishing, country music and all animals especially horses. She was a loving friend to all who knew her and a great companion to all.

She is survived by Donna and Ronald Ducy of Augusta; Rose Roy of Unity; Mary Hutter of Brownville; Walter Daggett of New York; Steven Daggett, Eugene Daggett and 13 grandchildren; three sisters and one sister-in-law, Jean Cox of Auburn, Evelyn Leavitt of Lewiston, Valda Flore of Chicago, Ill. and Pat Rideout of Hebron; brothers, Kenny Rideout and Jerry Rideout, both of Lewiston; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; and Clevelan Rideout, Dawn Rideout, Doneth Brouce Rideout and Fannie Maschino-Edgeterton; her first husband, Elmer Daggett in 1993; and Ralph Twist in 1996.

The family would like to say a special thank-you to the nurses at the Augusta Rehab for the care and love they gave Marion. To Joe Ellis, thank-you for everything.
