AUBURN – Terri M. DeFilipp has been named to the position of assistant vice president at Mechanics Savings Bank in Auburn. She will maintain her position as a loan officer, offering home mortgage and home equity loans, as well as responding to consumer requests.

DeFilipp has 23 years’ experience in the banking industry. She joined Mechanics Savings Bank in February 1991 serving as a teller, teller supervisor and indirect lender prior to assuming her loan officer position.

An Auburn resident, DeFilipp graduated from Edward Little High School and has completed American Institute of Banking courses. She is a member of the High Street Congregational Church where she serves on the board of deacons. She is a member of the Lewiston-Auburn Chamber of Commerce, Auburn-Lewiston Breakfast Rotary Club, Auburn Business Association, Edward Little High School Grandstand Club and the ELHS Class Reunion Committee. DeFilipp also serves as corporator for the Auburn Public Library and the Chapman House.
