School meeting

SALEM – An informational meeting on the proposed school district consolidation will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, at Mt. Abram High School.

Guest speakers will be Sen. Walter Gooley and Rep. Thomas Saviello, who will give an update on the the latest information from Augusta. They will also listen to the public’s concerns and answer questions concerning the proposed consolidation.

FARMINGTON – The Henderson Memorial Baptist Church worship will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, when Pastor Susan Crane will address Jesus’ Sermon on the Plain. Sunday school for all ages will be held at 9 a.m. and all are welcome. For more information, call the church at 778-2163.
