BRUNSWICK – The gypsy-jazz trio Ameranouche will perform Saturday, Feb. 17, at The Little Dog Coffee Shop on Maine Street.

Developed largely in Europe by virtuosic guitarist Django Reinhardt, himself a gypsy, the music ranges from peaceful and melodious to frantic and riotous. Ameranouche attacks the repertoire with passion and authenticity.

The trio is performing throughout New England this winter in preparation for its next season of touring, which will once again bring them all around the United States.

Making up Ameranouche are Richard “Shepp” Sheppard on solo guitar, Ryan Flaherty on rhythm guitar, and Xar Adelberg on upright bass.
