BERLIN, N.H. (AP) – The government is opening a counseling center in Berlin to help combat veterans adjust to civilian life.

Veterans Affairs Secretary Jim Nicholson said readjustment counseling is a service veterans have earned. The Berlin center is one of 23 new centers planned in the next two years around the country. It is scheduled to open this year.
