LEWISTON – Edith May Berry, 76, of Hartford, died Feb. 7 in Lewiston.

She was born in Hartford on May 31, 1930, the daughter of Lester and Vera (Draper) Gurney and was educated in Hartford schools. She married Claude Berry on Sept. 18, 1948, and was a homemaker all of her life. She loved animals and her home was always open to any and all.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years of Hartford; daughter, Janice Caron, and her husband, Ronald, of Hartford; her son, Skip Boucher, and his wife, Elaine, and their children, Megan and Ryan, all of Buckfield; her daughter, Nicole St.Pierre, and her husband, Phil, of Hartford and children, Christopher and Ryan, both of South Berwick; daughter, Linda Bouchard, and her husband, Gerald “Gerry,” of Lewiston; her son, William Robinson, and his wife, Terri, of Westbrook, her daughter, Bryanna Thompson of Lewiston and children, Sean and Brittany, both of Lewiston; daughter, Amanda Liguori, and her husband, Joseph and their children, Sabrina Gauthier and Cassandra Gauthier, all of Litchfield; son, C. Roger Berry of Hartford; son, Lawrence Berry of Hartford and his son, Wayne Berry, U.S. Air Force Iraq, and his wife, Katie and their son, Cameron, all of Crestview, Fla.; one brother, Lester Gurney of New London, N.C.; one sister, Shirley Heath, and her husband, Elroy, of Deltona, Fla.; one aunt, Hazel Russell of Hartford; numerous nieces and nephews; a special friend, Cathy Lowe of Hartford; and her dog Tia.
