AUBURN – Announcement is made of the engagement of Julie Jennifer Hart and Thomas Christopher Niejadlik, both of Portland.

Miss Hart is the daughter of Amy Hart of Auburn. She is a 1995 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 1999 graduate of Pennsylvania State University. She received her master’s degree in counseling in 2006 at the University of Southern Maine and is employed as a guidance counselor at Thornton Academy in Saco.

Mr. Niejadlik is the son of Michael and Deanna Niejadlik of Brooklyn, Conn. He is a 1993 graduate of Killingly High School and a 1997 graduate of Nichols College. He is employed as sales manager at Portland Volvo.

An August wedding is planned in Maui, Hawaii.
