AUBURN – The wedding of Renee Jeanne Mailhot and James Real Ouellette was held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 7 at Sacred Heart Church in Auburn. The Rev. Frank Murray and Deacon Denis Mailhot officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Ouellette is the daughter of Denis and Jeanne Mailhot of Auburn. Mr. Ouellette is the son of Bertrand and Claudette Ouellette of Lisbon.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a halter style gown embellished with embroidery and beading and a detachable train. She carried a bouquet of red roses, white stephanotis with crystal centers.
Nicole Morrissette, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Erin Breau, Angela Gosselin, Angela Saltis and Michelle Roberge, friends. Olivia Morrissette, niece, was flower girl.
Fred French III served as best man for his friend, and ushers were David Ouellette, brother, and Nate Motyl, Marty France and Mike Saltis, friends.
A reception followed at Martindale Country Club in Auburn, after which the couple spent a week at Sandals at St. Lucia in the West Indies. They are residing in Woonsocket, R.I.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of Maine at Augusta with an associate degree in social work. She plans to graduate in May from Rhode Island College with a bachelor’s degree in social work. She is employed as social worker and admissions director at the Holiday Retirement Home in Manville, R.I.
The bridegroom is a 1992 graduate of Lisbon High School and a 1999 graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a degree in business administration. He is a senior internal wholesaler for the Institutional Distribution Group at Fidelity Investments in Smithfield, R.I.
