There are many letters from Bush-bashing, Kool-Aid-drinking liberals who have no concept of politics.
During the Clinton years, the CIA, FBI and the military were cut back and the U.S. was ripe for 9/11. Information given to President Bush from intelligence sources regarding weapons of mass destruction was also given to the House and Senate.
Osama bin Laden’s whereabouts were known by the military. A Clinton aide informed the president that a two-hour window was open to eliminate bin Laden, but Clinton would not give his permission and bin Laden is still around.
According to Robert Patterson in his book, “Dereliction of Duty,” Vice President Al Gore hated the military so much that he would not speak to Clinton’s top generals, and yet he was a heartbeat away from the presidency.
Here in Maine, the left-wing House and Senate have put the state so far in debt that residents are the highest per capita taxed in the U.S.
Hospitals in Maine are not being paid and have been in economic straits to the tune of $211 million, a figure that’s growing. The state of Maine is unfriendly to small and big businesses, and the tax burden is on the homeowner.
Mainers need to wake up.
