FARMINGTON – Franklin Memorial Hospital is enrolling students for a medical terminology course being offered this spring.
The course will start on March 6 and meet every Tuesday for 13 weeks. The class is being offered at two times: 10 a.m. to noon and again from 5 to 7 p.m.
At the conclusion of the course, students will be able to identify terms of the human body, as well as diagnostic tests, diagnoses and surgical procedures utilized by each medical specialty.
The course is designed to bring together the entire spectrum of information used by allied health professionals who need to understand and use medical terminology.
Class size is limited. The fee for the course and the required textbook is $380. For more information or to enroll, call the FMH Education Department at 779-2381.
