RANGELEY – David Raymond popped in 20 points to lead a trio of players in double digits as Rangeley romped past Greater Portland Christian, 74-48, in the Western Class D preliminary-round boys’ basketball game Tuesday.

The Lakers jumped out to a 21-6 lead in the first quarter and were never seriously challenged.

Quinn Philbrick chipped in for Rangeley with 16 points, while David Jensen netted 10 points and hauled down 15 rebounds. Ben Bliss added to a well-balanced effort with seven points and 11 rebounds.

Greater Portland Christian was paced by Derek Allen with 20 points, while Mike Sauders tallied seven.
