NATICK, Mass. – Lucille A. (Chaples) Buckley of Wayland, Mass., died Feb. 12, in Natick, Mass.

She was born April 25, 1925, in Hudson. She was the daughter of Cleveland G. Chaples and Bessie (Lancaster) Chaples of Bangor.

Mr. and Mrs. Buckley were longtime residents of Bangor and Lewiston.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Buckley) Cross of Wayland, Mass.; granddaughter, Sarah S. Cross of Wayland, Mass.; grandson, Benjamin E. Cross of Culver City, Calif.; and niece, Nancy J. Graham and family of Bangor and Chicago, Ill.

She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Elwood (Shorty) Buckley; and her son, Dixon L. Chaples.
