I found the letter written by Heidi Lebel (Feb. 8) repugnant and untrue.

I work for Wal-Mart, and get paid and treated very well by all. And the medical coverage is very affordable. I don’t know where Lebel got her information, but it is false.

Wal-Mart is an American-owned company that provides thousands of jobs to those who seek, and need, flexible employment hours.

Wal-Mart is very flexible and tries to accommodate everyone. Employees are on a first-name basis, from the general manager on down.

People might think I am Wal-Mart management by the way I have written. Well, I am not. I am a maintenance person, and the work is not easy. We all work hard, but it’s one of the most enjoyable jobs I have ever had. I enjoy going to work and being with friendly people who treat each other with respect. Isn’t that what everyone wants in a job? We all work together, as one, and that is the reason how Wal-Mart keeps its prices very affordable to all.

I welcome Wal-Mart to Lewiston.
