BOSTON (AP) – Brock Bradford had a goal and three assists on Thursday night, and Nathan Gerbe scored twice to lead Boston College to a 5-2 victory over Maine.

Cory Schneider stopped just 19 shots for the Eagles (17-11-1, 13-8-1 Hockey East).

Ben Bishop made nine saves for Maine (19-9-2, 12-9-1) in relief of Dave Wilson, who had 15 before he was pulled midway through the game.Wilson allowed four goals.

Brian Boyle tied the game 1-1 in the first, then assisted on Bradford’s goal 89 seconds later to give the Eagles the lead. Ben Smith scored in the second and, after Keenan Hopson scored for the Black Bears, Gerbe put BC up 4-2 and chased Wilson.

Gerbe added an empty-netter with 96 seconds left.
