NORWAY – Les Gammon from the engineering department at Stephens Memorial Hospital has been honored with first prize as the “iCare Person of the Year.” Gammon received many nominations from various departments for his ability to help out and do what needs to be done to make the organization a better place.

Jason Criscitelli, who works in both materials management and for Western Maine Multi-Medical Specialists, was also recognized as an iCare winner. Criscitelli multi-tasks for various positions while attending nursing school and is willing to do whatever is necessary for patients and staff.

Anyone can nominate an employee for practicing a helpful act involving the iCare values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence. One person is drawn each month to receive the honor. At the end of the year, everyone who has received a nomination is put in the drawing at the end of the year.
