Lisbon police are investigating the death of an 18-year-old Oxford woman who was found dead on Valentine’s Day at Whispering Pines trailer park, Sgt. Scott Stewart said Friday night.
Megan Lynn Polisky of 976 Main St. was pronounced dead at a home at 3 Whispering Pines Drive, he said. An autopsy conducted Friday failed to determine the cause of death, the officer said, necessitating further testing.
“Toxicology reports won’t be in for a while,” Stewart advised.
Lisbon police received a phone call at 11:32 a.m. Wednesday from a juvenile at the home stating an 18-year-old woman there was unresponsive, according to the police report. Medical and police personnel responded, and Polisky was pronounced dead at the scene, the sergeant said.
The state Medical Examiner’s Office was contacted.
Stewart said Polisky was visiting friends at the home.
Detective Bernie McAllister is leading the investigation, Stewart said.
Polisky lived with her parents in a home near the Undercover Antique Mall, Oxford police Chief Jon Tibbetts said Friday night.
She was born to Mark and Tracy Polisky in Lewiston and attended Minot and Oxford schools, according to her obituary. Funeral services are planned for 3 p.m. Sunday in Oxford.
