PORTLAND – Tickets for an upcoming concert by Tool, known for its sophisticated oppressive rock, go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 3. Tool will play at 8 p.m. Sunday, April 22, at the Cumberland County Civic Center.

Tickets are available at the civic center box office and all Ticketmaster outlets; by calling Ticketmaster, 775-3331, and the box office, 775-3458; and online at www.ticketmaster.com and www.livenation.com.

Tickets are $52.50, general admission, all ages.

Complete with front man Maynard James Keenan, who also handles singing chores for the band A Perfect Circle, Tool is one of rock’s most mysterious and beloved bands that fans have embraced for more than 10 years.

Tool will be one of the headlining bands at the 2007 Bonaroo Festival in Tennessee.
